HeadX Duo is the instrumented evolution of the HeadX system, combining the established head-mounted crosshair laser with integrated multi-axis inertial sensing to support objective assessment, rehabilitation, and performance monitoring of head and neck control.

Built on the same visual feedback principles that underpin HeadX Kross, HeadX Duo adds the ability to measure and record movement in real time. This enables clinicians, practitioners, and performance specialists to retain the simplicity and immediacy of laser-guided training, while accessing quantitative data to support deeper analysis, documentation, and progression tracking.

At the core of HeadX Duo is the familiar crosshair laser, providing intuitive visual feedback for cervical proprioception, gaze control, and sensorimotor training. This remains central to session delivery, ensuring continuity with established HeadX exercise programmes and clinical workflows.

Alongside this, the integrated inertial measurement unit captures head movement across multiple axes, enabling objective metrics such as range of motion, movement velocity, control, repeatability, and symmetry to be recorded during live use. Data collection occurs passively in the background, without disrupting the exercise experience.

HeadX Duo connects via Bluetooth to dedicated iOS and Android applications, allowing real-time visualisation of movement data during sessions. This supports guided assessment, structured rehabilitation, and performance monitoring at the point of care.

For advanced use cases, captured data can be streamed or exported for offline analysis, longitudinal tracking, research, or reporting. All data is stored locally on the host device, ensuring practitioners retain full control over their information.
